Like all fast-curing resins, be ready to work fast once you've mixed the two and started the chemical reactions that lead to curing. The resin will probably start to heat before you're even done pouring, so have everything you need ready to go at hand. I make a lot of multi-layer resin stuff that requires full or mostly full curing in between pours to get clean layer lines, and this fast curing stuff cuts down on the making time HUGELY. Instead of having to do 1-2 layer pours a day, I can do 4+ a day with this. I absolutely love it.
Super clear! mixes well and dries hard. love it for dice making
This resin worked fabulously with my typical mixing method; I like to warm up my resin before mixing which helps it mix better. I will say that this has to be the most well behaved resin that I have used so it has slid into my top 3 brands. The instructions are well organized and very easy to follow, they provide great tips on not only working with the resin but troubleshooting it as well. I donโt ever use the additional supplied added but I will say they are appreciated. Overall this is a great resin that cures nicely and is user friendly.
Wanted to try resin for the first time and this kit worked well for me. The instructions were very clear and I was able to make a little keep sake for my Mom's birthday. This resin did dry fairly quickly. Might have to pick more up to try different projects,.
I love that this Epoxy Resin comes with two 32oz bottles - both need to be mixed together (it's an epoxy!) thus, you get a total of 64oz of resin between the two.
This Fast Cure Epoxy Resin is excellent. I use the Epoxy Resin for many different projects. This Quick Dry Resin is great for advanced users due to its quick cure rate. However, as stated in the literature, it is not for beginners which I agree with because of the fast cure rate. You need to know what you want to do with this resin set and do it quickly - leaving you very little time to correct an error.
I found that bubbles can be hard to control, again due to the fast cure rate and you need be extra careful when mixing. The literature suggests using a "vacuum chamber to degas." I do not have one but I find that I can keep bubbles to a minimum with careful preparation - again, not for beginners but for someone that has worked with this type of material before.
Based on my experience using this Epoxy Resin Kit, it is excellent. I rate it Five Stars.
